By using Church Group Text ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Description of Service

Church Group Text is an SMS messaging platform that enables churches and ministries to communicate with their congregation through text messages. The Service allows church leaders to send announcements, prayer requests, event reminders, and other communications to opted-in members.

SMS Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive SMS messages:

  • You consent to receive recurring SMS messages from your church or ministry
  • Message frequency varies based on church activity
  • Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message
  • Reply HELP for assistance

User Responsibilities

Users of our Service agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Only opt in to receive messages from churches they are affiliated with
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Church/Ministry Responsibilities

Churches and ministries using our Service agree to:

  • Only send messages to users who have opted in
  • Honor all opt-out requests immediately
  • Use the Service only for legitimate church communications
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
  • Not send spam, promotional content, or misleading messages

Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited on our platform:

  • Spam or unsolicited messages
  • Illegal content
  • Harassment or threats
  • Misleading or deceptive content
  • Content unrelated to legitimate church activities

Limitation of Liability

Church Group Text is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to message delivery failures, data loss, or service interruptions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
